Traineeships for a skilled workforce
Helping young people to enter the labour market and reducing youth unemployment are both economic and youth policy priorities. It is essential for competitiveness that young people leaving vocational education and training gain work experience. The aim of the project was to encourage companies to set up traineeships, and to provide young people better access to traineeships where they can gain marketable practical skills and work experience. Support for trainees hips and integration improved the employability of young people, including persons with reduced working capacity and with secondary qualifications.
